Torin Havelka

I am an HR Partner at an electric utility cooperative in North Texas, where I lead initiatives focused on talent development, organizational effectiveness, process improvement, and workforce strategy. My work has included designing enterprise training programs, improving HR systems and processes, leading performance management initiatives, and implementing data-driven solutions that strengthen organizational performance. Before transitioning into HR, I served as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, conducting research on organizational culture, leadership, and employee voice while teaching undergraduate psychology courses. I also served in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman, where I developed leadership, resilience, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
