Allyson Hayley

My name is Allyson Hayley, and I am proud to be a changemaker. To date, my personal and professional endeavors have consistently challenged me to take risks, rise above adversity, and leave an impact on any organization which I am a part of. After graduating as an award-winning student athlete from The United States Military Academy--West Point, I commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army's Field Artillery branch. Throughout my six years in the Army, I was privileged to influence various organizations of up to 400 Soldiers, twice serving as a Battalion Logistics Officer, the principal position for supply chain operations. The Army's focus on leadership development, complimented by an analytical and process-oriented approach to problem-solving, enabled me to manage a budget of $8.0M+, forecast bulk fuel consumption rates, and meet critical resupply timelines. The military also provided me invaluable global exposure, with two international assignments in South Korea and Germany, allowing me to enhance my communication and negotiation skills with foreign partners.
While the Army laid an unparalleled foundation for leadership development, I felt that I had reached my personal fulfilment and could proudly walk away, knowing I left my organization better than I found it. When seeking employment upon my transition into the civilian sector, I realized "I did not truly know what I wanted to be when I grew up", therefore, the opportunity to return to school, develop my business acumen, and gain exposure to the highly reputable Aggie network across a myriad of industries seemed like the ideal solution.
While I remain open-minded in my internship search and potential career path, my passions are rooted in supply chain management, business development, and operations. I am eager to explore opportunities that align with these interests, where my background in procurement and commitment to fostering sustainable practices can contribute to organizational goals. I look forward to the chance to add value to any team I join and to further my journey as a global changemaker.
