Hi, my name is Emma Moser. What drives me is the opportunity to create a visible impact on communities through efficiency. I bring a strong foundation in process improvement, cross functional collaboration, and data driven problem solving. Whether that is streamlining payroll operations for 150 students during my time as the finance manager at Texas A&M Student Media or contributing to a Kaizen event to improve line efficiency for 100 people in a factory during my internship as an industrial engineer at Carrier. During my senior design project, my team and I worked with CHRISTUS Health in Corpus Christi to streamline their operations in their radiology department. We were able to present a solution that would not only benefit future patients but would also contribute to a better workplace environment for staff. Collaborating to solve problems like these that have such a big effect on people and their day to day is what I enjoy the most.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Growing up in San Antonio, I was part of a bilingual program in Spanish and was able to continue this in college by studying abroad in Chile to get a minor in Spanish and a certificate in International Engineering from Texas A&M. I also recently passed my Fundamentals of Engineering, and I am currently a certified Engineer in Training. Currently pursuing my MBA, I have always loved engineering, but I wanted to be able to apply my problem solving skills in a business setting. Combining my background in process systems, and soon business will allow me to better understand systems as a whole and apply change that is quantifiable. I am looking for opportunities relating to operations strategy and systems engineering, which combines that engineering mindset and business knowledge. I would love to discuss what value I could bring to your team, thank you!
