Howdy, my name is Seungjin Seok, and I recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. My goal is to become a physician or a surgeon that helps improve healthcare institutions through effective hospital administration. I chose to join the MBA program because I want to complement my research and clinical experiences with the business knowledge and leadership skills needed to make a broader impact in healthcare.
As an undergraduate, I gained hands-on experience through research and design projects in tissue engineering, biomaterials, diagnostics, and regenerative medicine. These experiences taught me how technical innovation can solve practical problems and help healthcare organizations work together to deliver care effectively.
Upon observing the challenges that both healthcare providers and patients face in the hospital setting, I realized that the ability to lead, collaborate, and understand the healthcare system from an operating perspective was just as important as medical expertise.
I see myself as someone who enjoys being in the middle of engineering, medicine, and business. I enjoy collaborating with people to find solutions to complex problems and contributing to projects that could make a real difference in people’s lives.
Looking forward, I’m eager to continue learning and exploring ways to apply my skills and passions to healthcare. I’d love the chance to connect and learn more about how I can contribute to your team. Thank you.
