Howdy! I’m John, and my experience relates to my passion for innovation and managing teams. Prior to this, I have had multiple internships, research, and design experiences. This has included me working at Fortune 500 companies and multiple educational institutions. My areas of expertise include simulations, product development, and research and development, where I have been a part of enhancing oil and gas drilling equipment technology, conducting groundbreaking research for Artificial Intelligence, and helping pave the way for future underwater vehicles. I am most proud of my strong work ethic and quality work that sets the standard.
I have an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, and during my time there, I served in countless positions. I was the team leader for a club called Aggies Create and volunteered to help another design team at the same time, which was struggling, and revived it, which I later served as the mechanical engineering advisor for.
I led and managed classrooms for over two years, I was the project manager for my Autonomous Seaweed Collector Robot capstone project, and I have won multiple leadership awards.
Apart from this, I also have really good time management skills and worked up to two jobs at the same time while I was an undergraduate.
In my free time, I have also tried starting my own businesses and have taught myself marketing, sales, and business development skills. Whether this is through reading business books, working extensive hours to build businesses, or building professional relationships, I love business and all the intricate parts of it. Out of all the items I have told you, however, the thing I find most meaningful is building strong relationships and leading people effectively, which has led me to currently pursue my MBA at Texas A&M University.
