Joseph Cotie

Howdy! I'm Joe Cotie… and I love cows! My professional career begins a
bit earlier than most. At 15 years old me and my brother decided to start a
cattle company, where we worked for the last 7 ½ years to build a brand
that not only recognized profit, but built me into a leader. By the age of 18 I
became fluent in bookkeeping, customer relations and building my people
and my brand into a success. After some growing up, I began my
undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University where I studied Animal
Business and Agribusiness Management. While pursuing my degree, I
decided to take an internship in project management with Vaughn
Construction and truly fell in love with building the future one contract at a
time. This passion for construction was something that never left me, and I
truly believe never will. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree it
was time to make a decision… Do I continue with the company I had
worked for the last 7 years to build, or sell it and start anew.
This brings me to today, I'm currently working towards my masters in
business administration and am in the final stages of liquidating my cattle
company. While this liquidation brings with it a range of emotions, the one
that stands out to me is excitement… excitement for what's to come, and
more importantly for what I will become.
I'm a person that loves to build, whether that's people, buildings or cows,
my passion is seeing things come to fruition. The next step is to build a
company, one that is based on quality, integrity and VALUE being delivered
to the customer and employees each and every day. Let's build the future,
