I’m Riley, and I'm on a mission to change lives through medical device innovation. My passion
for helping others inspired me to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and pursue a major in
Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. During my undergrad I had the opportunity to
design and prototype a smarter pill bottle that aims to reduce opioid abuse. This project ignited
my passion for device innovation, which I further pursued during my internship as a quality
control technician, where I built lateral flow readers. Working at a small company also allowed
me to explore the business side of engineering through customer and client interaction.
I continued my passion for helping others by joining BUILD, a club dedicated to repurposing
shipping containers into medical clinics for underserved communities. I led volunteers through
the build-out of the shipping container, and discovered a love for inspiring and uniting people
towards a common goal. These experiences drove me to pursue an MBA at Texas A&M
University, where I am dedicated to expanding my business capabilities while nurturing my love
for learning.
I’m enthusiastic about leveraging my education and experiences to contribute to groundbreaking
advancements in biomedical technology. I am extremely hardworking and passionate about
building relationships with others. Let’s connect to explore how we can collaborate on projects
that push the boundaries of healthcare innovation and improve patient outcomes.
