Hello, I’m Sam. My past work (and life) experience boils down to one thing: adding value. Whether that’s climbing into a dumpster with some Timberlands to crush down trash and allow for a cleaner jobsite, or revamping how my firm tracked construction costs and timelines across over 150 projects throughout the United States. There’s no job I won’t do to help my team win. My relentless energy and good nature helps me to form meaningful relationships with my coworkers and industry partners. I thrive in environments where I can develop creative ways to solve problems. My motto is simple – take what works, remove what doesn’t, add what is uniquely my own.

After graduating with a bachelor’s in economics from Colorado College in 2018, I worked 5 years in the multifamily real estate industry. I wore many different hats but was leaned on primarily to collect and analyze data, identify opportunities, and implement strategic solutions. My experience, however, can most strongly be characterized by the impactful relationships I built with my coworkers and industry partners. Those alliances helped me to view the business from different angles and ensure the operational solutions I presented to upper management would work for all stakeholders, from C-Suite down to site level managers. I’m now an MBA candidate at Mays to take the next step in my career and elevate beyond an analyst to a business leader. I’ll keep searching for opportunity, and keep smiling along the way.
