Tanay Tewar

From Engineering to Product to Startup Co-Founder, my journey has been as exciting as the Superbowl. Howdy! My name is Tanay Tewar, and I am currently pursuing my MBA at Texas A&M University, Mays Business School. I am experienced in product management, strategy, and consulting. I thrive on being challenged and leading teams to solve business issues.

I started my career as a Consulting Product Manager, where I developed practical analytical and problem solving skills, which provided a strong backbone to my future roles. Moving into product leadership, I enjoyed the challenge of guiding larger teams and tackling more substantial problems as a Product Manager. This experience proved invaluable when I transitioned into consulting, where I discovered how much I enjoyed solving business problems, allowing me to combine my strategy and problem-solving skills, with my creativity. I created impact in terms of 37% revenue growth, 77% reduction in knowledge transfer times, and nine happy clients. But that is when I also realized that most of my leadership and business skills we as a result of learning through practical experience. The pursuit of a more structured approach to learning and refining these skills has led me to an MBA.
But here's what sets me apart – I am not just my professional experience. I spent 6+ years as a theatre artist, spending a lot of time on character studies and understanding human psychology. This unique background has in turn given me an edge in understanding team dynamics and client motivations. I've developed a keen ear for client needs - both spoken and unspoken, making me capable to deliver solutions that truly resonate with them.

I'm looking for roles that come with responsibility and allow me to create impact by solving a variety of business problems. I strongly believe in loyalty, resilience, and integrity, and I’m excited to bring these values, along with my skills, to bring value in whatever I pursue.
